Slow Worms

The ancient face of a slow worm, probably unchanged for millions of years, emerges next to some nettle leaves. We lifted an old tarp to find some nestling underneath , quickly took some photos and carefully replaced back over them.

Goose Stepping

Our feral geese landed up on our neighbour's field so here we are rounding them up. Don't worry-these geese are never going to market. We enjoy seeing them around the meadows and river.
A previous group got washed down the river in a flood and are still enjoying the free dinner on the fields below Claughton.
